Thank you for visiting my website. I am also the co-director of YPA London and I have also been involved in several start up organisations, such as Spain NOW!, currently in its 5th year, AWAD, the Association of Women Art Dealers, founded to support the careers of women art dealers and gallerists and Be Smart About Art, where I consult on the development of the programme of talks, courses & other activities. I have also lectured at Sotheby’s Institute and I collaborate on an ongoing basis with The Multiple Store a publisher of 3D editions by some of the most prominent artists in the UK. More details about these activities can be found below.

My personal interests include contemporary photography, multiples and editions and non traditional media such as collage & installation art as well as art from Asia, esp. Burma. My latest curatorial project to date was Spaces in Transition, a photography exhibition at Hanmi Gallery – click here to read a review of this (if I say so myself) fab show.

The galleries and art dealers I have collaborated with include Retrospect Galleries, Genty Fine Art, Decorazon Gallery, KPK Contemporary, Flaere Gallery and Lucy Johnson.

Dear Maria – we are a new Gallery and looking for people / galleries to collaborate with on a commission basis.
Could you please kindly look at the website and let me know if this is something you would be interested in. We are based in the North East of England but think the best marketing opportunities for this type of Contemporary art etc would be in London / Southern region. Please take a look and drop me a note. I picked up your details from LinkedIn. Very Best Regards, David.

They also provide a correspondingly smaller net benefit to the economy in terms of the spread between the unemployment benefits being received by a formerly out of work individual and the compensation being received for working. For example, the unemployment compensation received by a worker receiving the maximum benefit is about $400 per week on average, nationally. Based on a 35 hour a week fulltime job, that equates to $11.42 per hour. Throw in another $50/week for food stamps and you are up to the equivalent of a job paying $12.86 per hour.
